Please be aware that the designated operator of Brazil has announced a strike involving postmen in different regions of the country. The strike originally occurred on Wednesday, September 16 and there are currently no details of when it will end.


The temporary suspension of delivery operations may affect the delivery of letters and parcels. However, a Business Continuity Plan is in place to help minimize impacts and parcels will continue to be delivered by alternate routes whenever possible.

In other news, an 8.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in northern Chile on Tuesday, September 17. As a result, delays in the distribution of all categories of mail and parcels are to be expected in the coming days. The designated operator of Chile has informed us that the following areas may be affected; La Serena, Coquimbo, Andacollo, La Higuera, Paiguano, Vicuña, Illapel, Canela, Los Vilos, Salamanca, Ovalle, Combarbalá, Monte Patria, Punitaqui, and Rio Hurtado.
