Canada Posts Negotiations 2018

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) continues rotating strikes shutting down a major processing center in Vancouver while continuing the overtime ban.  The escalating strikes and overtime ban are causing backlogs which may mean delays of several days for Canada Post’s customers.

We will update the affected locations here as they are announced.

Strike Locations for November 12th:

  • Vancouver (BC): Mail Processing Plant (PPC)
  • In the Gaspe area of Quebec:
    • Whitehorse, Yukon; and in Kamloops, Creston, Elk Valley, Golden, Grand Forks, Kimberley, Kitimat, Powell River, Prince Rupert, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Smithers, Sunshine Coast and Terrace, B.C.
