Update: Effects of Novel Coronavirus (2019 nCov) on AWW Customers
Access Worldwide is actively monitoring how the novel coronavirus might affect our customers. As of now, we are not restricted from sending mail or parcels anywhere in the world, nor are we expecting packages to be returned. This includes countries experiencing significant outbreaks of the virus.
However, mail destined to countries including: China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Mongolia, and Italy may experience delays in service – in these instances, mail will be held in said country’s postal system until such time when it can be delivered. To stay up to date on how the novel coronavirus might affect your international shipping and mailing needs, please follow on twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, or check out our blog and Weekly Global Report.
Note: If you are an International Express customer, please contact us for further information.
Additionally, please see the following update regarding mail to Italy:
On February 24, 2020, Poste Italiane announced that mail service will be temporarily suspended to designated areas in Italy due to recent cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). Please see this list of postal code locations affected by the temporary service suspension.
In addition to the listed locations, delivery in neighboring areas might be affected depending on local order or individual decisions of public institutions and/or businesses open to the public.
Mail destined for the affected areas will continue to be accepted and processed. This mail will be held within Poste Italiane’s network and will be delivered once mail service is restored. Customers should expect delays in delivery times to the affected locations.
Access Worldwide will continue to keep you up to date as this situation develops. Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
