Antigua and Barbuda has resumed normal post office activity after being suspended on February 22, but has advised that shippers might experience delays in the short term.
Barbados - 24-Feb
Barbados’ post advises that the government has extended until Feb. 28 measures to minimize spread of COVID-19. Some airlines have reduced their services and/or canceled flights. This reduced transportation capacity may lead to delays in both inbound and outbound mail.
Greece - 12-Feb
In Greece, the government has announced new lockdown measures in the Attica region due to increasing COVID-19 cases. These measures could be applied to other regions in the coming days. There will be a direct impact on all postal operations.
LIthuania - March 1, 2021
Lithuania has extended the full-country lockdown to limit the spread of coronavirus. Shippers should expect delays, no signatures will be collected upon delivery.

New Zealand - March 17, 2021
The entire country of New Zealand has returned to Alert Level 1. Possible delays may still be experienced while the backlog is cleared.
Sri Lanka - March 12, 2021
All restrictions have been lifted by the Sri Lankan Post as of March 8, 2021 with postal operations returning to normal.
Brazil - 17-Feb
A 70% decrease in passenger flights coupled with increased volumes to Brazil have caused massive increases in the transport rates, as well as delays in transport.
The lack of airlift from major hubs to Brazil caused by the COVID crisis has resulted in most of the volume from US being funneled through Miami. These additional volumes have created a bottleneck in Miami for the limited transport that is available.
Please be advised that there may be delays of up to 14 days in Miami.
In addition, this week is Carnival in Brazil. As such, all clearances and deliveries will be additionally delayed.
Canada - 27-Jan
Canada Post announced that due to an increase of confirmed COVID-19 cases resulting in staff shortages, one shift has been temporarily closed at their Gateway East processing plant. As a result, disruption to normal operations and reduced processing capacity and clearance within customs operations for both inbound and outbound mail items are to be expected.
South Korea - 05-Jan
South Korea’s post advises that several cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed among the workforce of the Seoul office of exchange. As staff shortages are expected during the coming weeks, there will be delays in processing and delivery of all mail items.
Italy - March 15, 2021
The Italian Customs warehouse is experiencing a backlog causing storing and customs clearing difficulties due to COVID restrictions.
Slovenia - March 16, 2021
The Slovenian lockdown has been extended for 30 days starting March 18, 2021 affecting processing and deliveries of all mail types.

All mail delivered to China has been considerably delayed due to flight cancellations and the redirection of all incoming export items via Shanghai.
Somoa - March 16, 2021
The Government of Samoa has extended the state of emergency until April 14, 2021, all mail is limited to one inbound and one outbound flight per week with a three-day quarantine before delivery.
Thailand - March 17, 2021
The Government of Thailand has declared a state of emergency for the whole country, and especially in five provinces of: Samut Sakhon, Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan. Mail processing & delivery delay expected until circumstances return to normal.
Due to a carrier embargo, mail delivery to Haiti has been temporarily suspended. New volumes are currently buffered at Amsterdam Airport and will be shipped when a new route is found.
The suppliers have temporary stopped accepting mail to South Sudan. Mail will be held until this matter is resolved, hence delays are to be expected
25-Apr 2019: The U.S. Postal Service has restored mail service to Guatemala. This ends a temporary suspension of most mail services to the country that had been in effect.
5-Mar 2019: Guatemalan Post has advised they are resuming acceptance and processing of inbound letters and packages.
20-Feb 2018: Correos y Telégrafos is in its final phase to hire additional staff to help clear an ongoing backlog. As a result, international letter-post, parcel-post and EMS services (inbound/outbound) will continue to be disrupted for at least another 4 months. Correos y Telégrafos has asked the designated operators of other countries to hold back any mail destined for Guatemala until further notice.
11-Apr 2017: The USPS has temporarily suspended mail services to Guatemala until further notice. This will impact the following USPS services; PMEI, PMI, FCMI, FCPIS, IPA, and ISAL. For already deposited items, USPS will endorse them “Mail Service Suspended – Return to Sender” and then place them in the mail stream for return.
