Israel’s post advises that there is a country-wide lockdown until Oct. 11, 2020. During the lockdown, postal services will continue to function with restrictions, including closure of delivery points in shops, reduced working hours in post offices, and reduction of the workforce to minimize contact between people. Items normally requiring the addressee’s signature upon delivery will be handed over without signature. All of these measures will affect the processing and delivery of all types of services.
Australia - 01-Sep
Australia Post advises that government-imposed restrictions in Melbourne due to COVID-19 have affected its operations for the state of Victoria. Because of a reduction in processing capacity, acceptance of inbound international letters and parcels at the Melbourne office of exchange is temporarily suspended. Express mail service items will continue to be accepted and processed. Australia Post requests that all inbound international letters and parcels be diverted to another office of exchange until the restrictions have been lifted.

China Post advises that several provinces in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are experiencing flooding resulting from heavy rains. There are disruptions in the collection, delivery and transportation of all inbound and outbound international mail to and from Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Zhejiang and Guizhou provinces

Canada Post announced that they are suspending delivery for the day and not sending delivery agents out, as air quality conditions have made it unsafe. Delivery will resume once it is deemed safe to do so. The following regions will not have deliveries:
Castlegar, Cloverdale, Duncan, Ganges, Mayne Island, New Westminster, Okanagan Valley, Sooke, Trail, White Rock
Brazil - 26-Aug
The Brazilian Postal Service, Correios, is going on strike. Items are still being delivered, but the combination of COVID measures and this work slowdown has resulted in an additional business day or 2 for delivery after clearance.

Due to a carrier embargo, mail delivery to Haiti has been temporarily suspended. New volumes are currently buffered at Amsterdam Airport and will be shipped when a new route is found.
The suppliers have temporary stopped accepting mail to South Sudan. Mail will be held until this matter is resolved, hence delays are to be expected
25-Apr 2019: The U.S. Postal Service has restored mail service to Guatemala. This ends a temporary suspension of most mail services to the country that had been in effect.
5-Mar 2019: Guatemalan Post has advised they are resuming acceptance and processing of inbound letters and packages.
20-Feb 2018: Correos y Telégrafos is in its final phase to hire additional staff to help clear an ongoing backlog. As a result, international letter-post, parcel-post and EMS services (inbound/outbound) will continue to be disrupted for at least another 4 months. Correos y Telégrafos has asked the designated operators of other countries to hold back any mail destined for Guatemala until further notice.
11-Apr 2017: The USPS has temporarily suspended mail services to Guatemala until further notice. This will impact the following USPS services; PMEI, PMI, FCMI, FCPIS, IPA, and ISAL. For already deposited items, USPS will endorse them “Mail Service Suspended – Return to Sender” and then place them in the mail stream for return.
2-Nov 2017: Due to political developments in northern Iraq, the government has issued an embargo on flights into the region. It is expected that no deliveries will be possible until the situation is resolved.
6-Jun 2017: According to reports, in accordance with the declaration issued by the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are cutting ties with Qatar, the provision of postal services with that member country has, until further notice, been suspended.

The Ukrainian post office, Ukrposhta, has suspended all mail services to Crimea (postcodes 95000-98999), Sevastopol (postcodes 99000-99999), Donetsk and Luhansk Oblast regions until further notice.
